Richmond barbecue joint The Swinging Door to close this weekend after 50 years

After 50 years of serving up barbecue in Richmond, The Swinging Door will close its doors this month. Owner Steven Onstad posted the announcement to Facebook, thanking the community and saying he is ready to move on to another chapter of his life. The barbecue joint will close Sunday, May 14, with an auction following June 17 and 18.
