HomeAid Houston, Chesmar Homes, Abigail’s Place and Attack Poverty broke ground Tuesday, July 26 on two 1,000 sq. ft. duplexes that will provide transitional living for mothers and their children in crisis situations. HomeAid Houston, a 501(c)(3) charity of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) helped facilitate the partnership between Abigail’s Place and Chesmar Homes. Chesmar, led by Jeff Johnson, division president, will begin construction in the coming weeks.
