Funds allocated to repair Cole Theatre in downtown Rosenberg after historic landmark donated to Fort Bend County

ROSENBERG, Texas — In the heart of downtown Rosenberg sits a piece of history filled with stories to last a lifetime. “It served as a meeting point for the community for a number of years until television came along and kind of put the quietus on all the movie theaters,” said Bill Butler, owner of the Cole Theatre.
