Suspect charged in fatal shooting of man in Fort Bend County

HOUSTON, Texas — Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 15815 Boonridge Road around 12:10 a.m. on July 26, 2023. The suspect, 34-year-old Ricky Lee Garcia, of Fort Bend County, is charged with murder in the 268th State District Court, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department (HPD). The Fort Bend County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as 30-year-old Tracy Delano Richardson Jr.
