Authorities have renewed an investigation into a decades-old case tied to “Stubby,” an unidentified torso found in a Fort Bend County ditch in June 1964. The remains were exhumed July 10, prompted by advances in forensic biology and forensic DNA analysis, leading to the hope that fresh leads could be picked up, according to a news release from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Team.
