Lamar CISD Mourns Loss of Two Teachers in Suspected Murder-Suicide in Richmond

Tragedy struck a quiet Texas community as two elementary school teachers from Lamar CISD were found dead in their Richmond-area home, in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide. FOX 26 Houston reports that Marina Alba Garcia, 34, and Gene Hudgson, 34, a married couple and dedicated teachers, were discovered by Fort Bend County sheriff’s deputies responding to a welfare check at their residence on Darst Field Trail.
