Incumbent Lizzie Fletcher, Kenneth Omoruyi leading in U.S. District 7 Democratic, Republican primaries

Texans were able to vote at any polling place in the county they reside in during early voting, which ran from Feb. 20-March 1. (Melissa Enaje/Community Impact) According to unofficial early voting results from Harris and Ford Bend counties, incumbent Lizzie Fletcher is leading against challenger Pervez Agwan in the Democratic primary for U.S. Congressional District 7 with 73% of the vote. Meanwhile, Kenneth Omoruyi and Caroline Kane are leading in the Republican primary with 47% and 23% of the vote, respectively.
