Identity politics bent out of shape in Fort Bend

Politics based on a particular identity, such as race, nationality, or religion, known as “identity politics”, which used to be largely confined to the Democratic Party, has now become a campaign strategy of the Republican Party as well in Fort Bend, hailed as the most diverse county in the country.
