Harrison Yu is the type of kid you just plain root for. He is the embodiment of those classic Aristotelian virtues we spend so much time praising and little time cultivating. He’s disciplined, hard-working, gracious and more, even when facing adversity usually reserved for people much older than his mere 17 years. Born neurodivergent, Harrison has worked hard to transform what some may consider challenges into a superpower. He is now making a name for himself as a teen piano prodigy, winning the annual Fort Bend Marielle Ogletree Young Artists Piano Concerto Competition by unanimous consent.
