Fort Bend ISD elementary schools will have armed security guards when students return to class this week

When Fort Bend ISD elementary school students return to classes on Thursday, they will have armed security guards at their schools. The change brings the school district in line with a new state law that passed last year, requiring all Texas schools to have at least one armed security guard on campus.
