Fed economist: Higher-than-target inflation will remain until 2025

While the U.S. and Texas economies are slowing to a more sustainable pace since the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation likely will not lesson to the Federal Reserve Bank’s goal of 2 percent until next year, an economist with the bank told a Fort Bend County audience last week.
