Jermell Charlo Released After Family Assault Charge

Jermell Charlo was reportedly arrested on a misdemeanor assault. According to BoxingScene.com, the ex-undisputed junior middleweight champion was apprehended in Texas on December 16, 2023. The records show he was taken to Fort Bend County jail, after which he was released. The Daily Mail alleges he assaulted a member of his family.
