Actor and author Kirk Cameron to read newest children’s book in Houston area library

Former sitcom actor and author Kirk Cameron is hosting a book reading this weekend in Ford Bend. The “Growing Pains” actor will be reading what is billed as his latest Christian children’s book, “Pride Comes Before You Fall,” a story about the “dangers of being prideful and the importance of having a humble spirit instead,” at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fort Bend County Libraries – Sienna Branch in Missouri City. The Houston area stop will be his first in Texas.
