Needville man charged with aggravated assault after sending man to hospital in machete attack

Law enforcement officials have arrested a Needville man accused of injuring another man with a machete, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. Hector Ivan Portillo Rodriguez, 55, was held without bond Friday in the Fort Bend County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
