Sugar Land woman gets 18 years for theft, money laundering

A Sugar Land woman has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for stealing more than $1 million from an employer, the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office reported. Mary McDonough, 42, received her sentence from 400th District Court Judge Tameika Carter after pleading guilty to theft and money laundering.
