A Houston Texans running back on Friday was accused of burglary based on allegations he forced his way into a Houston home and chased his on-again-off-again girlfriend into a bathroom, according to court records. Records filed in the Harris County District Clerk’s office describe the charge as burglary with intent to rape, but late Monday the Houston Police Department said that charge was incorrect. The police department said the charge should be “burglary with intent to commit assault.”
