Officials from four Houston-area school districts have implemented a ‘No Backpack’ policy on Friday after they were made aware of a new “social media” challenge. According to their websites, some schools in Katy Independent School District, Waller Independent School District, Klein Independent School District, Fort Bend Independent School District and Lamar Consolidated Independent School District will be prohibiting backpacks out of an abundance of caution.
