Fort Bend County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Houston man last Thursday after he tried to flee a home construction site with stolen construction materials. Deputies responded to a citizen call of a theft in progress in the 11400 block of Cypress Elm in Richmond. The caller said someone was loading construction materials into a van. Deputies located the van, loaded with residential framing lumber, as it tried to leave the scene.
